The challenge

With the launch of the new Maserati Granturismo 2023, the renowned Italian automotive brand decided to create a digital twin to be used for both its communication content and future real-time applications.
For this reason, Maserati relied on our proven expertise in the field, thus forging a partnership with Dead Pixels to cover the range of new cars coming out from the House of the Trident.

The solution

Starting with CAD files provided directly by the parent company, our team worked full-time to create a highly detailed (High Poly) and an optimized (Low Poly) version of the Maserati GT. The High Poly version was developed to meet the needs of Maserati’s main communication channels, including high-resolution static renderings for digital catalogs, social and websites. The Low Poly version, after several phases of optimization of exteriors, interiors and mechanical components, was designed to support real-time configurators on web and mobile platforms, offering potential customers an engaging and interactive experience.

The result

Throughout the development process, we maintained constant communication with Maserati’s styling center to ensure the highest level of fidelity and preservation of the brand’s core values in our Digital Twin. We are proud of our achievement and of having contributed to their continued innovation in the automotive industry; we are already working to complete the new vehicles in the lineup and raise the bar of digital excellence even higher in the automotive world.
