Cimbali at HOST 2021
At HOST 2021, the Cimbali Group, a global leader in the design and manufacture of professional espresso machines, unveiled numerous innovations related to products, services, and sustainability initiatives. The real challenge was to create a “phygital” experience for the Cimbali booth, combining both physical and virtual interactions to allow customers and industry professionals to meet and share the latest developments, whether in person or remotely.

The future of industry trade shows
To provide a fully digital and immersive experience, a virtual stand was created to replicate every detail of Cimbali’s physical space, allowing for smooth and intuitive navigation. Users can explore the different areas, each dedicated to the four brands of the group, with the opportunity to discover the coffee machines and their respective brand identities. This innovative digital solution enables visitors to immerse themselves in the world of Cimbali in an entirely new way, overcoming physical barriers and allowing remote interaction that faithfully mirrors the real-world experience, without compromising on quality and detail.
THE RESULT
An interactive tour
The Virtual Tour for Cimbali is a web app accessible from both desktop and mobile, offering an immersive and intuitive experience. Divided into four areas, each dedicated to one of the group’s brands, it allows for 360° navigation through realistic scenarios. The highly photorealistic 3D models of the coffee machines are accompanied by interactive menus that provide photos, videos, brochures, and technical data sheets. The rapid development was made possible thanks to the machine mathematics provided by the client, which were easily integrated into the 3D environment using texturing, lighting, and rendering techniques.
