The design of vehicles and machinery intended for human use requires careful analysis to ensure optimal ergonomic design. These analyses, essential for user safety and comfort, involve lengthy review phases and iterative modifications to ensure compliance with ergonomic standards. Traditionally, physical models are constructed, and specific tools are employed to accurately analyze surfaces and viewpoints across various anthropometric percentiles. However, these methods significantly increase review times and costs, making the design process longer and more complex.

Optimization of review processes

The goal is to minimize the need for physical prototypes and in-person meetings. By replacing physical mockups with 3D digital reproductions, review times can be significantly reduced, and opportunities for design analysis can be expanded. Thanks to virtual environments, designers can schedule remote review sessions where they can directly test the modifications made to the project and introduce new changes as needed. This approach not only enhances efficiency but also allows for a more flexible and collaborative review process.

Advanced ergonomic analysis

Our software enables the faithful import of 3D projects for a complete ergonomic analysis of the product. Through Virtual Reality, users can simulate their physical presence in a virtual environment populated by the components to be analyzed. Our solution supports remote collaboration, allowing multiple users to participate in the same session to discuss and address details in real time.

The software offers visualization from different viewpoints based on the selected percentile and, with the aid of digital simulations, allows for testing both visual and physical ergonomics. Its advanced graphic quality also enables the evaluation of material reflections on the end user. Finally, thanks to body tracking devices and haptic and visual feedback, it is possible to conduct physical and cognitive ergonomic tests quickly and accurately.
